The third and final fight in the Ali vs Frazier trilogy certainly did not disappoint. Ali, in typical fashion, jeered Frazier nonstop… “killa and a thrilla and a chilla, when I get that gorilla in Manila.” The hype was at an all-time high, and as a result of the promotions, a global television audience of more than 1 billion tuned in to watch. The fight was an all-out war and Ali won by TKO after Frazier’s corner conceded the fight before the 15th round. Many don’t know, Ali also was on the verge of quitting… he told his biographer, "Frazier quit just before I did. I didn't think I could fight anymore." This piece entitled, “Thrilla in Manila” has been created to celebrate the life, career and perseverance of “The Greatest” of all-time.
